Plenty! We attended the Green Today, Jobs Tomorrow conference in Lansing on May 11, where we met representatives of countless non-profits, government agencies, and Green businesses, including keynote speaker Van Jones. In the meantime, we've also finalized more of the CBE Speaker Series. The next event is Fresh Food Grocery CBE in Inner-City Neighborhoods: What Can We Learn From Philadelphia? on May 28 at 11250 E. Jefferson in Detroit, the site of the former Farmer Jack which is slated to become the home of a new cooperative grocery store; registration is 6-6:30 pm, and the event runs until 8pm.
