The Detroit Community Cooperative (DCC) is a local, mutual, trading and business development co-op that provides members with skill and resource sharing, discounts on member products and services and barter. Our mission is to encourage, enable and educate about collaborative action as a way to build a healthy, sustainable and inclusive local economy, and to meet membersÂ’ needs by providing quality products and services at reduced prices. From Sept.-June we have monthly potlucks, each hosted by a different member organization. It is a great way to learn about and participate in grassroots cooperative economic development. All are welcome to come and break bread with us. Membership is open to businesses, organizations and individuals. We plan to open for business in the fall. Apply for membership now!
