Last fall, cooperative developers and supporters started an online fundraiser to defray lawyer bills for our colleague and mentor, Jessica Gordon Nembhard, author of Collective Courage, an in-depth history of Black Americans and co-ops, a first of its kind. She was defending a vindictive lawsuit which has since been settled. That first fundraiser terminated with technical difficulties and funds being returned. We are restarting it on a better platform.
Most of us know Dr. Gordon Nembhard as a champion, leader, and chronicler of our cooperative movement. Please give, to help her retire those legal expenses. And share this link!
